PRATHYASHA FOR INTEGRATED SOCIAL ACTION (PISA ), the official organization for social action, of the Holy Cross South Indian Province is the brain child of the then provincial Sr.Eileen Vettikkuzhikkunnel , the first Director of the organization Sr.Asha and a group of sisters who are dedicated their service in the field of social work. Founded on November 22, 2015, Prathyash For Integrated Social Action grew year by year under the patronage of gifted Provincials and the directors with dedication and commitment.

In this journey PISA has taken sides with the poor and the marginalized people to end poverty and social injustice. Our focus is on the rights of the most marginalized communities, rural and urban poor, women, children, aged, fishermen, differently abled, migrant and unorganized workers. These groups face an acute lack of access to control over resources, services, and institutions. PISA practices a right-based approach to development, helping people to claim their rights, which may be constitutional, moral or legal entitlements.
