“Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today” says Malcolm X. The project Village Development through education aims at supporting the children at the costal belt in Trivandrum and Kollam District. The project completes its fifth  year and 105 students completed their various professional trainings successfully .We  awe a great homage to the donors and the sisters from the generalate community of the Sisters of the Holy Cross Congregation who work hard to provide financial assistance to the students . The project still continues and 70 students are still benefitting from the project.

The children are provided with opportunities such as,

• Life Skill Education for the adolescents
• Skill training Program for drop outs.
• Survey for selecting new beneficiaries for the academic year
• Family and individual counseling for the selected students and family
• Career guidance program for the higher secondary students.
• Identifying placements for the students who complete their course.
• Institutional visit to assess the academic performance and the moral behavior of the beneficiaries of the project.
• Community tuition center for the poor children
• Follow up and guidance program for the students who have completed the course.
• Exposure programmes
